【市指定：史跡】盛加がー

〔むいかがー〕

水道の発達しないころ、人びとの生活用水は天水と各所に散在するうりがー（洞井）であった。集落はうりがーを中心に形成、発達してきており、宮古の歴史はうりがーを切りはなして考えることはできない。盛加がー内には小規模ながら貝塚層もあり、周辺一帯からは多くの青磁片・土器片等が表面採取でき、大きな集落跡を物語っている。
郷土史家の稲村賢敷氏は、14世紀後半勢力をふるった与那覇原一党の本拠地をここ盛加がー一帯にもとめているが、異説もあってさだかではない。
盛加がーは、平良近郊ではもっとも規模の大きいうりがーで、石段は103段設けられ、婦女子の踏みしめた跡を残している。

【Designated by the City：Historic Site】Muika-ga

Before the development of the water system, the people used rainwater and water from the Uriga or waterholes found in various locations. The settlements formed and developed around these wells and the history of Miyako is deeply connected to the Uriga, the source of water for the people.　The Muika-ga has a small layer of shell mounds, and from the surrounding areas, pieces of celadon and pottery have been collected from the surface of the ground and tells us that this areas was once a large settlement.
Mr. Kenpu Inamura, a local historian, believed that this whole area around the Muika-ga was the main stronghold of the Yonahabaru party who showed great strength in the last half of the 14th century. However, it is unclear and there are other theories that argue against this opinion.
The Muika-ga is the largest Uriga found in the area around Hirara. There are 103 steps leading to and from the water, and we are able to observe the path walked by the women and children of the past.

【市指定：史跡】盛加洞井

在自來水還不發達的時代，人們的生活用水主要來自雨水和散布於各地的洞井。村落也以洞井為中心形成並得以發展。宮古的歷史與洞井具有不可分割的關係。盛加洞井內有規模不大的貝塚層，從周圍一帶的地表採集的許多青瓷片和陶器片，證明了這裡是一個巨大的村落遺跡。
鄉土史學家稻村賢敷氏認為14世紀後半期，勢力如日中天的與那霸一派想要把根據地建在這個盛加洞井一帶，不過也存在著其它不同說法。
盛加洞井在平良近郊屬於規模最大的洞井，建有103個石階，至今還留著當時婦女們踩踏過的痕跡。

【미야코지마시 지정：사적】무이카가 우물

수도가 발달하기 전, 생활용수는 빗물과 각지에 산재하는 우리가(우물)를 이용했다. 마을은 우리가를 중심으로 형성, 발달되었다. 미야코의 역사 역시 우리가를 빼고서는 생각할 수 없다.
무이카가 안에는, 작은 규모지만 패총층이 있다. 주변 일대에서는 많은 청자 조각, 토기 조각 등을 표면 채취할 수 있다. 이는 커다란 규모의 마을이 형성되어 있었다는 점을 말해주는 흔적이다. 향토사 연구자인 이나무라 겐푸씨 는14세기 후반에 세력을 떨쳤던 요나하바루 일당의 본거지가 이 일대였다고 기술한다. 그러나 다른 설도 전해지고 있어 확실하지는 않다.
무카이가는 히라라 근교에서는 가장 규모가 큰 우이가이다. 돌계단은 103단으로 이루어져 있고, 여성들이 밟고 지나갔던 흔적이 남아 있다.
